On October 3, 2009 a group of HCPC members took a field trip to the Kinsol Trestle, visited St. Andrew's Cowichan Station Church, stopped for lunch at Cowichan Bay and photographed the Butter Church. The owners of ETA Bus Tours provided us with a 25 person bus at cost of fuel and one of the company owners, Rick Brown drove free of charge. Having the bus with all of us together made this Field Trip so much more enjoyable. Thanks-you ETA Bus Tours. Some members attending donated their images of Kinsol Trestle to the group working on restoration of the Trestle as part of the Canada Trail for fund raising purposes. We will be photographing the repairs as they are being done and again return upon their completion. Working with the community in this way is what HCPC is a large part about.
